Literacy Nassau has offered Orton-Gillingham teacher-training and certification for the past 8 years. Our first trainee, Karen Micciche, has just achieved Fellow-level status, so we are excited to be able to expand our training program to the greater community. As a non-profit organization that offers donation-based tutoring for children with dyslexia and other learning disabilities, we are committed to keeping our costs affordable and eliminating the exclusivity that often occurs in the tutoring and training world. It's time to level the playing field for educators.
